Stereo Remote Control

A new product development for a Stereo Remote Control handset.

Two types are designed, being suitable for standard stereo systems (shown) and 5 speaker surround sound as used in home cinema systems.

The design offers an intuitive approach to the many functions employed within the equipment with the aim of reducing the number of buttons controlling the functions.

Secondary functions are automatically activated by a prolonged press or by the use of function cycle keys. These keys cycle through the options, which are displayed on the equipment.

The design is programmable to be compatible with most manufacturers equipment, requiring only changes to the printed key graphic detail.

The housing has a soft domed profile, which sits in the palm of the hand and the length is gently curved in all planes. A Snap-On battery compartment is located on the underside.
