Company Overview

Established in 1989 (...and still here), we identified the need for a design consultancy, which can offer the full range of design services from initial concept through to volume manufacture.

Previous experiences in industry highlighted certain shortcomings in industrial design, which provided effective results but failed to continue the design phase into manufacturing, considering value analysis and production engineering issues.

Our expertise lies with industrial design and practical engineering using the latest techniques and materials to provide solutions designed specifically for manufacturing to the proposed volumes.

We are experienced in Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical and Electronic Design for many components and systems intended for general industrial, consumer, leisure, telecomms, automotive, medical and military markets.

How it usually works...

Our clients usually come to us with a concept – and sometimes a few problems. It might be a new product for which they need a design that will perform well, look great, and won’t shatter the manufacturing budget.
Our job at this stage is to assess the practicality of the client’s expectations.

We rarely have to say, “Sorry, it can’t be done”, but we may well come up with a better way of achieving the required result.
At the end of the brainstorming session, we’ll each have a clear picture of the way forward.
This is where you’d expect us to wheel in the technology. Fair enough; it’s true to say that we use all of the relevant computer-aided technologies, and we’re as slick and proficient with them as the best.

But that’s not the important part. The vital component is the vision and experience of the designer – and
that’s what makes the finished product something special.
